Bauer Farms Hot Honey is a red Highland heifer with a clean build and an eye catching presence. She is well put together and shows the kind of structure that carries forward as she matures.

She is sired by LCF Laird Finley, a structurally correct and muscular bull with strong feet. Her dam is known for a good udder and an easygoing temperament. Her full sister earned first place in the Senior Heifer division at the 2025 NCHCA Regional Show.

Honey is a weanling heifer that is coming along well and has been easy to manage. She does have a very slight crop ear with minor notches at the tip.

She is sired by Kilmacolm Calum of Heritage AHCA #66206, a dun Canadian import with direct Scottish lineage. Her pedigree traces to Prince Charming Heritage 20C CA16719 and Emmie of Willow Glen CA17086. Her dam is a well built yellow cow from a closed herd with previous AHCA influence.

Willow is gentle, easy to handle, and has been started on halter. She comes when called, follows without a lead, and enjoys being brushed. Training will continue through sale time. She loads easily.

Poppy is not halter trained but loads easily. A functional, low maintenance cow that is doing her job.

Spring 2026 Herd Dispersal

Colonial Farms

Colonial Farms of Westminster, Maryland will be consigning 20 raised calves.

This group is made up of young cattle ranging from calves to long yearlings, all raised within the same program. They show the consistency, structure and build you want in a set that’s been developed together from the ground up.

A solid opportunity to sort through a larger offering of calves from one outfit that’s put the time into raising them right.

Purdy, MO Dispersal

A set of practical, pasture raised Highland cattle coming straight from a working program. These cattle hold their condition, raise calves, and handle real world conditions without extra input.

This group includes three mature cows, one with a calf at side, along with three bulls. They carry good depth, natural thickness, and the structure that fits both small operations and larger breeding programs.

Starter Herd Dispersal

This group represents a set of calves originally purchased in the fall sale and put together as a starter herd. Due to a transfer to Texas, the owners are dispersing the entire group.

The offering includes two AHCA DNA pending bulls, two unregistered bulls and two heifers. These cattle have been kept together and developed as a young foundation set.

They will sell as a dispersal alongside the other consignments, with the registered and unregistered cattle identified accordingly.

A good opportunity to pick up a ready-made group that has been raised together and managed as a unit.

3HP Dispersal

This set comes from a small, working herd that has been doing their job right. It includes one mature cow with an almost year old calf at her side, two bulls and one steer.

This is a practical group with proven cattle, young replacements, and bulls that have already been used. A good opportunity for someone wanting cattle that are already working and producing.

  • Mamba is a 5 year old unregistered black cow that has proven herself as a steady producer. She is bred back for a May calf. At her side is a black heifer calf, Midnight.
  • Midnight, born 5/21/25, is a feminine, younger heifer with a lot of hair and a good start. She is easy to be around and comes to feed.

  • Carson (AHCA #61,952) is a proven herd sire with calves on the ground. He is calm, easy to handle, and has the kind of disposition that makes him easy to keep around.

  • Bodie, a brindle steer born 5/24/24, sired by Carson and out of an unregistered black cow.
